The knowledge hub is public and searchable, and articles on rules, permits and grants show their source, reference and last-check date. The AI assistant requires login and answers with cited sources, but it does not replace the competent office or a lawyer: the official text prevails.
This guide explains how to use the Knowledge hub and the AI assistant on AgroTour Connect, how sources and dates are shown, and what not to expect from them. It is written for producers, hosts and tourism partners.
In short
- The knowledge hub is open to everyone, no login: search and category filters, 12 articles per page.
- Articles on laws, permits and grant calls cannot be published without a link to the official source and a reference inside it.
- The AI assistant is for logged-in users, has a daily limit of 100 questions and answers with cited sources.
- Summaries are written in plain language. Where they differ from the official text, the official text prevails.
The knowledge hub
Open the Knowledge hub page. The Search box looks through titles and summaries. Categories are: All topics, Grants, Laws, Permits, Compliance and Best practice. Clear filters restores the full list.
When you open an article you will see:
- the publication date (Published:) and the update date (Updated:),
- Content language: if the article exists in both languages, a switch between BHS and English appears,
- an In brief block with the summary,
- for grants: a deadline bar, for example "Applications close on ..." with the days left, or "Applications closed on ...",
- a Source and verification block, if the article has a source, a reference or an in-force date.
How to read "Source and verification"
- Reference in the source: the article, paragraph or point the text is based on.
- In force from: the date the rule applies from, when known.
- Last verified: the date the article was published or last checked by a moderator. It does not mean the rule stayed unchanged after that date.
- Open the official source: a link to the official gazette, ministry page or the call itself. It opens in a new tab and shows the site address.
Individual fields appear only when filled in, so the block can be shown without a source link, and for advice pieces without an external source it is not shown at all. For a legal duty, look for an article that has both a reference and a link, and treat the check date as a pointer, not a guarantee.
The AI assistant
Open AI assistant in the menu after logging in, or use the Ask the AI helper button on the list and inside an article. A visitor who is not logged in is sent to the login page first.
What to do
- Choose a conversation mode: Assistant (general questions and planning), Legal mode (official regulations, article-level citations) or Grants (calls, eligibility, deadlines, paperwork).
- Type your question (up to 2000 characters) and press Send. Enter sends, Shift+Enter starts a new line.
- If needed, add a file with Attach a file: PDF, image or text, up to 4 MB, at most 3 files per question. Word and Excel are not read directly, export them to PDF.
- Under the answer, look at Sources. Clicking a source shows the excerpt, and Open source leads to the original. A source from the platform itself is labelled Knowledge hub, with Open the article in the platform.
- Conversations are kept in the Conversations rail: you can search, rename, pin and delete them. Regenerate gives a new answer to the same question.
Limits
- Answers are based on sources in the database, but the assistant can be wrong or miss a newer rule. A notice under the question tells you to confirm with the responsible institution. Legal mode is not legal advice, and for grants amounts and deadlines change: check the official call before applying.
- The assistant is meant for agro-tourism and BiH regulations. If questions repeatedly fall outside that scope, AI access is paused.
- The daily limit is 100 questions. When it is reached, a daily-limit message appears. If the AI is overloaded, try again in a few seconds.
- If text search is temporarily unavailable, an answer may draw on fewer sources, and the platform says so.
- Do not type personal or sensitive data into questions.
Tip
For any decision that involves money or a penalty (a call application, a registration, an inspection), use the assistant to find the right article, then use Open the official source, check Last verified and the deadline, and confirm with the competent office. The check date does not replace reading the official text itself.
