How to create and publish a tourism package on AgroTour Connect

Published: 6 October 2026Author: AgroTour Connect team
In brief

You create a package in the dashboard under Packages, with the New package button. Enter a title and description in BHS (required), add partners you have an accepted partnership with, save the draft and click Publish package. A package is a public record of cooperation, not a booking system.

A tourism package on AgroTour Connect combines your offer with the offers of partners (for example a farm, a restaurant and a guide) into one public record. This guide is for users with the contributor role who want to publish their first package.

In short

  • Packages are in the dashboard (BHS: Kontrolna tabla) under Packages (BHS: Paketi). You create one with the New package button.
  • A user with the contributor role or higher can create packages. If you do not see the New package button, your account does not have that role yet; it is granted after the platform team verifies your profile.
  • Only a title (at least 3 characters) and a description (at least 10 characters) in BHS are required. The English version is optional, even if you write in English first. Everything else is optional.
  • You can add only partners you have an accepted partnership with.
  • A package is not a booking system: bookings, payments and itineraries are agreed outside the platform.

What to do

  1. Sign in and open Packages in the dashboard menu. The My packages tab lists your packages, and the All, Published and Drafts filters narrow the list.
  2. Click New package (or Create your first package if you have none yet).
  3. In Title & description, choose the Primary language and write the title and description. The description should say what the package includes, how long it lasts and who it is for. The BHS title and description must still be filled in if you choose English as the primary language. The Generate other language with AI button can produce the translation into the other language, so you can use it to generate the BHS text too. The AI button becomes active only once the description has at least 30 characters. Read and correct the translation before publishing. If the description exists in one language only, a warning is shown.
  4. In Included stakeholders, click Add partner and search by name. The list offers accepted partnerships only. If a partner is missing, send them a partnership request first: you send the request from the Directory (the partner's profile) and follow its status under Partnerships in the menu. You can add a Partner role note for each partner (for example dinner or a guided walk). Each added partner is notified and can request removal with one click. A package can be published without partners.
  5. In Photos, add a cover photo and a gallery. JPEG, PNG and WebP are allowed, up to 5 MB per image, with a maximum of 25 gallery images.
  6. In The offer you can enter duration, number of guests (from, to), price from (per person, in BAM or EUR), season (the months the package runs; with none selected it shows as Year-round), languages spoken, what the price covers, and a meeting point with a map pin. All of these fields are optional.
  7. Click Save draft. A new package is saved manually the first time, because photos need the package to exist. After that, changes to the draft are saved automatically and a Saved indicator appears in the top bar. If a field is invalid, an error appears instead and the draft is not saved.
  8. Check the package on the Preview tab (next to Edit), then click Publish package. If a required field is invalid you get the message Check required fields with the list of fields. On publishing, the system checks again that every added partner is still an accepted partner. Publish is also available on the package card in the My packages list.
  9. A published package is visible to everyone at agrotour.eu/packages. To withdraw it, click Unpublish on the package card in the My packages list or in the editor: it returns to drafts.

Good to know

  • You can delete a draft with the Delete button on the package card, after a confirmation. The button appears on drafts only, so unpublish a published package first.
  • If someone added you to their package, you see it on the Mentioned in tab. There you can open the package or click Request removal, with an optional reason. You can withdraw the request with Withdraw request. The package creator is notified and has 24 hours to remove the reference or contact you. If they do not respond, the reference is removed automatically. If you are the creator, you have those 24 hours when a partner requests removal.
  • A visitor on the public package page can send an enquiry to the operator, so state in the description how guests can reach you.
