For 2026 Nevesinje municipality set aside 369,000 KM for agriculture across 12 measures, from milk premiums to seed and machinery. Registered farm holders living in the municipality can apply. The only call still open is for fruit saplings, until 30 November 2026.
Nevesinje municipality adopts a rulebook on cash incentives for agriculture every year. The 2026 rulebook applies to farmers in the municipality. It has no separate measure for rural tourism; for tourism see the article "Tourism in Nevesinje: attractions and the Tourist Organization contact".
In short
- For 2026 the municipality planned 369,000 KM, split across 12 measures. The Municipal Assembly adopted the rulebook on 6 March 2026. It was published in the Službeni glasnik opštine Nevesinje (municipal official gazette) no. 2/26 on 12 March and has applied since 20 March 2026.
- The largest shares go to the milk premium (145,000 KM), pregnant heifers (52,000 KM) and machinery (50,000 KM).
- For purchases (seed, machinery, milking equipment, saplings) the incentive is up to 50% of the invoice for commercial holdings and up to 30% for non-commercial ones, with a cap for each measure. Support for livestock, bees and milk is paid per head, per hive or per litre.
- The call for fruit saplings (form P-10) is open until 30 November 2026. All other 2026 calls are closed.
- The amount you receive depends on the budget and the number of applicants, so it can be below the stated maximum.
Who it applies to
Support is open to individuals who meet all three conditions:
- they are entered in the farm register of the Agencija za posredničke, informatičke i finansijske usluge (APIF, the Agency for Intermediary, IT and Financial Services) with active status, as holders of a commercial or non-commercial holding,
- they have their residence in Nevesinje municipality (you attach a certificate of residence),
- farming is their main or supplementary activity.
Legal entities registered for milk production can also claim the milk premium. For bees, you need to be entered in the Republika Srpska register of beekeepers and apiaries and be a member of the Nevesinje beekeepers' association.
The number of measures per applicant is limited. A commercial holder under 65 who farms full time can claim support under three measures, other commercial holdings under two. A non-commercial holder under 45 who lives in a rural area and farms full time can apply for three measures. Other non-commercial holders can apply for the milk premium plus one other measure. Family farms that received the municipality's letter of thanks for their contribution to agriculture on Spasovdan 2025 can apply for the milk premium plus two other measures.
What to do
- Watch the Javni pozivi (public calls) section of the municipal website and the notice board. Calls are also announced in one media outlet. The milk premium and the pasture water points do not go through a public call; the municipality publishes a notice (obavještenje) instead.
- Download the application form for your measure (P-1 to P-11) from the website, where it is posted with the call, or pick it up at the counter.
- Submit it to the Department for Agriculture and Rural Development (Odjeljenje za poljoprivredu i ruralni razvoj) at the registry counter in Nevesinje.
- Attach: a copy of your ID card, a certificate of residence, 2026 proof of APIF farm registration listing household members, a copy of your bank account details with the bank name, and for purchases the invoice and fiscal receipt (original or certified copy) for goods bought on or after 1 January 2026. The exception is seed for the autumn 2025 sowing: that invoice may be dated up to 30 October 2025. For livestock you need proof of animal identification from the veterinary information system and the animal record card; for heifers also a copy of the animal's passport and proof of insemination or pregnancy. For fruit saplings you also need the declaration on the quality and the declaration on the plant health of the planting material.
- For machinery, equipment and animals you sign a certified statement that you will not sell or otherwise dispose of them for three years.
- A commission visits at least half of the holdings and posts a preliminary ranking list on the notice board. The mayor issues the decision, and payment is made once the decision becomes final.

Heifer payments follow once the commission has processed the applications and visited the farms. The milk premium for the past quarter is due in October, after the dairies send their figures.
